Okay, just passed the three week mark on my LightWave training. Thanks for all your patience reading posts from a beginner here :). I know it is not the incredible characters xtreme3d, werner and PiSong post...but hopefully someday if I can even get close to them I would be ecstatic!!
Thanks everyone let me know what you think of my first organic model.

Wireframe - I know I made my Subpatch too high and I have a older version saved and I may go back and redo the touch ups on that and keep the geometry down.

Edit : okay, now I got'em, maybe they equired a bit to charge.
good work! the only crit I have is the huge amount of polys (if this is intentional I apologize) try to make some bandglue, in areas you see don't need so much detail, like the main body of the starship. :)

Your right about the poly count though, it really is too high for this type of model. If I were you I would probably revert back to the older version with the lower count:)
Besides that lilttle hiccup, you'v done a fine job here, your really moving forward now :beer:

LOL! Thats great Wes! Its really cool to see how fast youre picking up this stuff. The model is very clean. Ill look forward to seeing what you do with the texturing part of the course. :)
