View Full Version : Camera Xpresso Python set-up

Triggered by a presentation from Chris Smith, I decided to give it a try myself.
Here the result, a camera set-up using xpresso, coffee and python.

A master camera is animated over 5 camera settings using position, rotation, focal length, sensor size and focus distance. The speed going from one camera position to another is defined by frames.
E.g. from frame 0 to frame 250, the master camera is animated from position 1 to position 2.
How, is defined by the spline control, which can also be found in the user data.
It is also possible to keyframe the animation (and then later edit the animation tracks).
In the user data you can specify how often a keyframe must be set.

It is a beta release, so please give me some feedback, improvements, other functionality, etc.,

Note: It is based on a project setting of 25 FPS.

Please click this link ( for a short explanation of the set-up.
