Hi guys,

First post on this forum.

My questions is the following.

I want to retrieve a result set by calling listAttr on a polySurface.
When I perform this command listAttr polySurface1.f[0] in MEL I see a result set in the script logger.

When executing the same command via C++ & the MGlobal::executeCommand() function

MCommandResult resultSet;
MGlobal::executeCommand( "listAttr polySurface1.f[0]", resultSet, true, true);

The script logger shows an error with the following message. Error: No object matches name: polySurface1.f[0]

does anyone have an idea why this error gets triggered. As I have already mentioned when called from MEL script editor the command works flawlessly.
