View Full Version : Custom 'hair node' development help.

Hi, I wanted to try and design a custom node (via the C++ API), which is supposed to pass renderLine data to let's say a pfxHair node.
The problem is I can't find any info of what the type of attribute, passing that data is, and how is the data managed. In other words what should I pass to the pfxHair.renderHairs attribute?.
In the docs I found only these three classes: MPxPfxGeometry, MRenderLineArray & MRenderLine, which look exactly like what I need... except the fact, that they can only read data, and couldn't find anything about writing. Any insight will be much appreciated.
