View Full Version : creating a separate pass for color bleedings

Hello all,

I would like to know how I can create a separate pass for color bleeding using mia material x pass in mental ray maya 2011.
I found some info on the internet that there is a way in Render man,
but it seems Mental ray cant do the same.
Please help me if you have done this before or know hints.

I use vray mostly so I am not sure of the specifics in mental ray, however I would give the render elements a looking at. Perhaps using the "mr A&D Raw: Diffuse Indirect Illumination" Element would give you what you are looking for.

Either that or you could setup a manual pass that just has no direct light, and just the contribution from indirect light on just white objects or something like that.
