View Full Version : Is it possible to expand pixel borders?

Say you make a UV texture in a 3d application, but it can not make a falloff when "baking" the texture, is it possible to expand the graphics of the texture in PhotoShop in a similar way it is possible to expand a selection in PhotoShop?

A UV map baked in Cinema4D have no falloff (similar to the uv on the left side), so I want to make a selection of all the graphics, and grow/expand it, similar to how selection can grow in PhotoShop. The expanded version on the rightside is baked using the demoversion of MicroWave for LightWave.

Hope some PhotoShop guru out there can help me :)

you can expand and contract selections under select>modify>

you can also expand the actual pixels out bu pasting the object onto a new layer and without a selection goto matting>defringe and type s suiatble value.
