Hope it's original, haven't seen any crashed cars images yet
first update :
that looks great.very awesome.
so, what about making some small parts on the ground. the enviroment looks untouched by the crash.
your car looks pretty good ;)
nice painting of the surface teared up, also some nice touches
f.ex.with some paint on the round-cylinder. the front of the
car seemes more realistic than the back-part, due to f.ex.
the interior-seats looks very flat and plastic.
also, the window-glass looks a bit to clean and fake with
the glass-breaking up.
I really miss some glass and particles lying around,
just those touches that would make this comp. much better!
..maybe even also add some radiator-water lying around
under the car..
..if you study the picture, you also see an error with the
skidmarks from the front-right wheel, it has noe different
height when skidding over the round edge a bit back..
like the picture from the front the best, from the side you
see so much clearer that this is cg. something also to do with
the smoke coming out, to obvious cg on the side-view.
but overall, very good!

Can't see anything.

one other thing, if the car were moving that fast it would mess up part of the rear too, like the panels on the back should buckle a little, things like that, where basically the body doesn't fit on the chasis anymore

I think its a great render. However, I do think in the first image, the right side of the car looks too fluid. A real crash would not leave such a smooth edge.

i agree that you need to put some debris/liquid on the ground.. it'll make it look a lot more realistic ;)
great render though.

Very good thought! Nice!
But the smoke alike cigaretta somke, no?! :) Window break strange!

Finally, someone has done some crashed-car image!
Some things I note is that it doesn't have any engine parts underneith(sp?) the grille.
Also, with that impact of driving right at the pole, the airbag should've deployed ;)
The rest looks pretty natural and realistic IMO.
BTW, there was someone who made the image of Audi TT being ran over and totaled by a tank ;)
I think that's the actual first crash image I saw...

Such a nice idea - keep up the work :) As ppl said above, the whole image needs some "dirt"

This sort of thing needs to be done more often! But I agree; more debris, a bit better comp on the pole. I love it!

That is awesome!
Man, I wish I had a better PC...So I can be able to use these 3D programs =(
But good job, can't wait to see your next models

Thanks all for the crits. I'l put some debris on the ground, fix the smoke problem, the airbag will be more visible (yes, it is there), some radiator water or oil.
Btw, I forgot the details, made with 3dsmax, nurms (I made the whole model first, I didn't start it crashed :) ), textured in photoshop, with some refernces made in deep paint 3d, and rendered with v-ray.

Great job! But i think you should have chose a better photo for the backround of the second pic. Because all those people aren't looking at the car! I don't know about you, but if there was a car crash i'd be looking at it!

woaw ... this is impressive.
Anyway, there are some little things annoying ...
- The rear and interior of the car are not realistic as the front (somebody noticed that already)
- Deformations are too round ...
- The smoke has something wrong ... should look more like vapor (increase density and opacity .. this one looks like cigarette smoke)
- What are the blue little things in front of the car ?? glasses or cooling fluid ?
- Add cooling fluid falling from the RIP radiator ...
Well .... awesome piece of work ... :applause:

I fixed most of the problems. also I removed the skid marks (From what I understands, abs cars don't leave them)

well, I updated again, the whole scene, with new paint. No more replies ?

No crits here because thats way better than I could do.
Yes its original and its a brilliant render.
Nice work !

Ha Ha Ha.... good one... the wrecked parts look good.
wow, pretty cool.
won't you add a bump map to the left head light glasses?
and the windshield is still cracking strange. i think the cracks should be more detailed.
nevertheless it's pretty creative. i love it ;)

wow that looks great
a few ctrits though:
1. car glass doesn't really break like that, its designed to split into loads of tiny pieces that aren't as sharp as normal glass.
usually the window pane is gone and there are only sont bits and pieces left hanging on the edges, and all the glass "cubes" are lying on the floor. (just do a search on google or sth. and you'll see what i mean)
2. i think a crash like that would have opened the airbag ;)
3. the parts where the paint has come off look like the have been "brushed" if you know what i mean. (you can still see the brushmarks) i dont think it would be that random either.
anyway, still looks great :)..!!
