Pretty good basemesh.
Looks like he's wearing an onion mask. Reminds me a bit on the scarecrow from batman :thumbsup:

i like the maggot-idea... but i think it's too big. i would check how it looks like with the maggot as big as his head...
so, the tail of the maggot just reaches his neck.

other than that nice progress and nice character idea

This is my favorite design by far very imaginative and amazingly done. Really hope you finish strong, as this has a excellent chance of being crowned king. Good luck m8

well, removed the worm...
I thought that he lost his speed and agility with him
so I changed it to something else, which is top secret for now ahah :D
have an idea in mind how the final picture will look
I think the next update will be the whole model in a pose

Cool sculpt so far man, like the idea for the pose. Would love to see him doing something more aggressive tho, maybe you play around with a few more ideas? Looking forward to seeing the fullbody and textures.

what an ugly guy. The disp looks awesome with the lighting. One crit: I think his navel sits too low.
I'm already afraid of him.

Great work!
I would suggest to have those larva crawling all over the head and some on his shoulders,
like 10-20 off them but much smaller size and may have the bird feeding on them :)
And i agree its to nice of a face to hide with a helmet but may add more union stuff,
old moldy union souse that flow down his buddy?
In any case i like it good luck.

the settings is very low right now, testing how disp map react to it (

Can you any snapshot from the mudbox viewport ?
You did a retopology in another software. Is it in the rules to use another 3d application in this challenge exept for the base mesh creation ?

like the design and colors alot.
textur wise i miss a sharp bumpmap for the skin but model is great.

Fantastic, the uppertorso is really good. I love the modelling, but you lost a bit of the concept idea, the onion man, at the texturing stage.

The weaponery is really good. Im glad you finish it!

HOLY SH*T!! This is so friggin cool! And what a creepy and cool character ya got there. Wow awesome :D Great job with the modelling, and the texturing is fantastic. Really like how his face is kinda scrunched up and the uneven teeth. Nice touches, those. The rendering is really nice too, colours and everything is working real nice. You wouldn't wanna mess with this guy, nope ya sure don't XD Congratulations for finishing! Wow just wow...kickass entry ya got there. All the very best man! :buttrock:
