Well I do not know what to say ummm..... there is lot of work that I still have to do ...but the render time is ok "7min36sec"

looks good but your in for some long renders if your up to 7 and a bit already. Is it for stills or an animation? also what package?

I like the feel of this image.... the green and grey go good together. I don't think 7 min is to long for an animation frame.... but you have to be ready to leave your render machines going for a while.. :)

great designs and colors, I kinda liked the mood of the earlier one's more of an afternoon feel but that's just a personal opinion, great work!

Congrats on getting the pic in the Lightwave Gallery on Newtek's site.

The image really is great. One thing though with the shreded canopy as opposed to the intact canopy, is that your pics are missing some of the green and yellow "shadows" projecting across the scene. It certainly looks great still... infact maybe it looks even more real. But it does't seam as sur-real, and looses some of that "airy" feeling you get in the non-shreded canopy. This is all just a personal design issue though.

There are no bones in the main character TCM has 102
sub-div body parts I'm still working on the rig but I'll
post some OGL screengrabs anyway.
The Sneaks have a bone or two.:)

OH my ....

it must be time consuming to rig those parted objects together...

lots of pivot points moving i guess.

oh by the way thanks for the screen grab, it looked awesome on both.

I wonder if the "sneak" slows the computer down when you try to animate them... since you have so many IK in one scene

The IK is not bad. I'm using a management system I came up with on a job a while back that called for a lot more characters then this.
Also I'v opened it up so you can look at it
and most of what you see... would slow it down.

Setting up the pivot and parenting was quick now
that you can do it in modeler .

I would like to know how you did the hanging stuff. Just modeled with nurbs - or use clipmaps - or possibly soft-bodies?

georgeous render on the first shots. althought i think the texture is a little low rez on the closer shot. maybe make a higher rez version just for that one shot. are you still in school? just wondering who im up against when i graduate :D

hey man, take that lighting back up! it looks like a computer did it on the darker renders! the washed out look is great. It gives it a wonderful movie quality. anything outdoors in a dessert like setting is not going to have dark shadows anyways.

also, i know your going to hate me, but the new cloth thats all ripped up looks bad. compositionally its very distracting, and you loose your figure in it. you have such strong linework, such a great minimalist composition, throughout the rest of your piece, and that just doesnt fit.

put back the old cloth. I loved the subtle shadows it casted. youve got something great. and I hate you! :D just kidding.

its great stuff really.
