hi .. everyone .. i'm some what of a new modeler to the organice side anyways . .
well i'm currently modeling this character and i would like it if you guys can comment on my topology and point on anything that i should change.
in the animation the character shoulders are always up except for one shot in the animation the rest of the time his shoulders are up and his knec sticking out. i was trying to go for a really boney guy.
but i've rebuilt the edloops so much that everything jus looks like a mess now. :) .. but i'm still working with it

can't comment on this...but i'm interested in comments on this as i'm in the process of making my first body...and the area you point out was my biggest worry and the area i laid out very similar to yours.

It is ok for modeling, but you need some more subdivisions in the shoulder area for bending the arm in animation. Also, try to think with the peak and valley theory. One subdivividing line is for the peak, and another one is needed at the bottom of the peak to make the valley.

hmmmm a shot from farther away would help bc i cant really make out the angles and topology directions to make a good comment :S it will help others as well to help you :applause:

i decided to start over my character from my last post.. cause after looking at other wireframes .. i noticed i had way too much geometry..

Hi doc, there are somethings i would comment on.
Your newest model i was noticing there is nothing showing your topology. you should post a pic of that and then i am sure people could comment more. its hard to judge how your building it so far without any wires. Like on the arm around the elbow were the arm bends. it looks a little weird there.

i'm finished my character rigging and skinning.. all this was new to me thats why it took so long but hard work pays off!! .. here he is .. he is missing his little underwear thingy.. but i'll add it just no w..
