View Full Version : SSS skin shader passes OpenExr

12 December 2011, 01:54 AM
I am using Maya 2011 with a subsurface scattering shader on my character. Is there a way to render Open Exr files with multiple passes imbedded in the one render file?

If so, how can this be done?

This should answer the part about rendering to a single file

Rendering sss to a pass, im not sure what the pass is called. You could try making a second layer and render that one out separately.

Mentalcore has a demo right now which has passes for sss, epidermal, subdermal, back.
