This is my first topic.

I have some Mel scripts. Can I use mel commands ( my mel scripts )in C++ ? If I can How ?

I want to create a GUI and some tools. Where can I start ?

Do you have any tutorial about Mel in C++ ?

why would you wanna slow your c++ interface down by drawing from mel?
check the sdk docs (close + carefully) and you'll find the answers to your questions.

I'd check out david gould's book "complete maya programming"

it really covers the api more than any other book i've seen, and has some mel too, though for mel I prefer mark wilkin's book.

oh, and while most of the time mel does slow things down, it is sometimes necessary.

@brubin; My Mel knowledge is better than C++.

I will look at "complete maya programming"
