I am having trouble with a Zbrush displacement map I have brought into Maya.
The displacement map is merging vertices on my Maya base model, where there should be no geometry at all, see screenshot below:
This is the model in ZBrush and what it should look like:
My maya settings are as follows:
- obj imported with multiple objects turned off
- alpha gain: 1
- alpha offset: -0.5
- feature displacement turned off
- mentalray subdivision settings:
- Approx Method: Spatial
- Min Subdivisions: 3
- Max Subdivisions: 6
- Length: 0.001
- Quality Render Setting: Production
Does anyone know why this is happening?
