View Full Version : Maya 2012 with p_hairTK

I can't get this to work, I'm following this tutorial with Maya 2012, hotfix4 (yeah should upgrade really) and shave 6.0:

There's nothing that has been changed since then right? It'd be great to maybe get a sample scene to dig into.. or just confirmation that it should work..

The shaderReplacer workflow is just for inserting the p_HairTK stuff into the maya furDescription. I'm not that familiar with shave, but I thought you could assign the shader directly (so the shaderReplacer and geometry shader are not required.

Maybe someone else can give you a better answer?

Just try to test it in 2012. Shave crash Maya even without p_hairTK...
What exactly does not work for you?
