This is a model I just finished of the Heavy Weapons character for Future Combat Scenarios (http://www.futurecombatscenarios.com), a UT 2003 mod.
The breif was to create a slightly futuristic version of todays soldier aswell as someone who was strong enough to lug a large weapon system around the battlefield.
C&C most welcome.
4957 triangles, textures 100% self illuminated
Textures comprise of:
2 x 1024 Legs and Torso
1 x 512 Head
1x 256 Helmet
The weapon is a Predator/Kestrel Light Anti-Armour Missile.
2030 triangles, textures 100% self illuminated
1 x 1024 textures

Looking very well planned out(polycount-wise) and good overall use of textures, but to display your work, I'd be tempted to get rid of the bold white outlining of your characters... :)
It's not really helping them to show of the true potential of the colour-subtlety you've achieved there!

WoW great work there.:thumbsup: One of the best soldier models I've seen in a long time. I'm very impressed by the texturing especially, it's quite subtle but defines the right areas of interest on the model. Overall a nice job.
It's almost hard to believe it's low poly... Great work!!!:applause:

vizion: I used Max5 and photoshop and a wacom tablet to texture with.
Atwooki: I thought that the outlines would give more punch, but perhaps they are too strong. I've taken your advice and updated the originals with a thinner, more subdued outline.
