Just wondering what the code would be for the following ;

Mountain - Add noise to a surface
Point - Add to point normal | Add to point Velocity
Scatter - Scatter points on a surface

Be much appreciated.

Have worked out the noise.

so just the scatter and point sop.

Any ideas?

I've never used Houdini (and I assume many others here haven't either) so I have no real idea exactly what you are talking about or referring to.

you can emit particles from a surface, which gives you random scattered points?

If you gave us a bit more description about what you were specifically trying to do we could maybe offer more help..

Houdini much more powerful.
Maya has not scatter nor point nor mountain.

But you can use this free plug in
