I really like the overall design of that creatures head. What are your ideas for the body? You could really go nuts with his body and textures. Nice work.

wicked head model cerreto. I like it.
Will he be closing his mouth at all? might be tricky.
lets see more!:p

I really like the look of this one. very mean and menacing. Cant wait to see the body!
01 January 2002, 02:41 PM
This looks like the type of head that needs to go on a quadraped. I see something in the line of a barrel chested dog from hell.
01 January 2002, 02:50 PM
really good modelling here cerreto! your skills are growing fast!! the proportions and curves a simple and effective!! maybe add details on horns a bit.. good work!

01 January 2002, 11:41 AM
impressive work cerreto!!!
do you plan to ad some legs like dino or some fins like a fish???
want to see mooooooore....;)
01 January 2002, 01:34 PM
This is shaping up to be a great 'don't fcuk with me' character the proportions look a little odd, the head looks a little low for the shoulder blade position, if he (or she) looked up the horns would penetrate the shoulders.
Any way thats my 5 pence worth, it looks great.
P.s. give him something to chew on.
01 January 2002, 02:00 PM
heres the pic he used for reference.its a painting by brom.
01 January 2002, 08:02 AM
just changed the pic abouvwe added legs next comes detailing clean up and then finish the paws add a few thing and its done still makiing time lapse but no space for them maybe jean will read this and host them ? hint hint
oh yeah martin gave me that pic i let him name the model so it will be called dog from mow on :)
01 January 2002, 08:21 AM
Impressive bud, I really love how this is turning out... the horn in the shoulder blade problem, could be deadly for the poor chap, but I'm sure you'll handle it :) also I know you're working on it, but I'll just mention, add some nice muscle defintion on the top of the legs...
Keep going man, you're doing great ;)
01 January 2002, 08:35 AM
cerreto I see what you mean about the reference, but brom hasn't got the horns so the problem of head movement isn' really there. I guess in the end there would be a fair amount of neck movement as well.
The post with legs is great. If you are stuck for some space to host I can help you out.
01 January 2002, 09:26 AM
thanks guys muscles will go on last with the paws started a lil of them the horn thing the top horns actual are wide enogh the would rest the sides on the back and the tips go off to the side reinforcing it s head against its back in a fight the lower horns will be shortend i just havent started finishing the head yet
thanks for the input
01 January 2002, 11:00 AM
You seem to be still working on that dog(?).
So there`s not so much to say about your work.
I can say. you must keep in mind the skeleton and muscles when modeling which is under that skln and increase the Subdivision Level,
and add some more detail to the legs.....you need some muscles there.
but good start!!! Keep up. :D
