Here is a building concept I did for a non-profit that is trying to get Walgreens to move into this building. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

typed a stack.. lot is all..

gist of it. nice renders

lighting - too gi very unreal

earth mound thingos with invisi trees = odd

invistree shot - why not move the camera to the other side and have the tree solid, probably will look better.

add people to give images a bit of liveliness

the bricks look too small

2nd pic with sky (white blotches next to invis tree) is strange

asphalt could be dark and road lines less lemony

lighting on the awning (1st shot) look odd - 2 different directions for the light on west/east face of building

please talk about the software - max + cad?

Pretty good for a quick job, very nice models. Decent enough if it's just for an NPO, which probably can't pay much.

Suggestions, just dirt, and some DOF would be nice.
The trees.... I understand the ghosting because it's specificly an architectual job, but you could also try showing one with trees and one without, could be more effective.

So what would you guys suggest I do to add dirt. Since I do primarily Architectural renderings for proposals and presentations, I have not gone thru and experimented with just creating a realistic scene and adding dirt maps. And I am a complete newbie when it come to painting in Photoshop. I tried adding tread marks and oil spots on the road. But it did not look so good. Any suggestions would be great, I am always willing to learn more from the masters.

Well here is an update of the rendering from the parking lot. As you can see, I got rid of the ever so popular invisa-trees. Still working on the post. For both images. Might be awhile, but I will be adding some people and other site entourage.
