View Full Version : an Animator in a Texturing world

Hi I am an inspiring animator, I put the majority of my time into animation but I want to be well rounded in all aspects of 3d. My problem is that everytime i model something I dont know how to layout the uv's in the texture editor. Unless it's a sphere or cylinder where I can do something simple like cylindrical mapping or spherical mapping. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get better at this.
