Hi,guys,Im from China and I really need help on this.
I have learned Character Animation in China for a few months, mainly biped, and this is not enough at all. I want to take some non-degree animation programs abroad, complete my demo and work in US or Europe.
I have searched a while, but most are all degree courses, and the rest I know are Gnomon and Animation Mentor, but it seems Gnomon only takes domestic students and Animation Mentor only teachs online.
Do do you know any good non-degree animation programs (Character or VFX) that are in US or Europe, not more than one year and accept international students?

Online courses are a better way to learn animation. Think about it, you can study when you like and then get one to one bespoke tutoring with a professional. This isn't the case with many class orientated courses.
I run an Online VFX Animation School, here are some examples of my students work:

Agreed, online courses are usually the best way to learn animation. You get professional working animators in the industry teaching you the art. You definitely hear a lot more success stories from online courses. I'm apart of a school called AnimSchool, we have students from all around the world china, india, US, Australia, it's so interesting seeing everyone from different parts of the world coming together. Check out our website and these youtube videos.
We also teaching modeling and rigging, on a 21 month course, or you can take a single course if you would like to try it out without any long term committments. The program is super flexible is very competitive in terms of pricing.

Escape Studios do non degree courses in the USA as well as in the UK. They also do courses online. Their courses are meant to be very good but probably at a price.
Hope this helped you,
