"Not even death can save you from me... " (Diablo - Diablo II VG)
This challenge theme: Hell
So items could be:
- Devils Throne
- Devils Chariot
- Eternal Fire Damnation
- Robots Devil
- Devils Violin
Speed Modelling is all about the learning experience, try to force yourself to finish your project in 3 hours. (Warning: If it takes longer you will burn in Hell for eternity)
Use whatever tools you like, and then post:
- a wireframe image (optional)
- a clay render (if you didn't finish in time)
- a final render (if you are awesome)
I hope you enjoy the theme!
Borgfriend, you are coming up with wonderful themes.
Would it be ok with you if I added these items and themes that you are posting to the list on my site?
........I am collecting some kind of modellist to work from, I have started to work on items from this list myself.
This is the list (collected items from me and MSus)
Here's my attempt on the throne. Funny enough I started to focus on the pentagram and the concept itself instead of the throne. The throne needs a lot of work, too simple at the moment.

I thought that this speed modeling challenge would be fun!
I'm new to maya, so I thought I needed some practice,
so I gave it a shot:
Done in two hours, It's the Devil's throne on a giant hand in hell. The speed modeling experience was definitely fun! :)

Here's my first submission. Took about 2.5 hours

Modeling: 35 minutes
At all: 2,5 hours (with a lot of experimenting)
I tried a different approach to the "hell" topic and what hell means to me. So, my burning picture is associated with loss and loneliness and these feelings can also be like some sort of hell.

nice job remeli, way to think outside the box
Cool concepts guys. :)
I messed around with my setting a little bit more with a simple mannikin that I made for another Jedi scene. Don't have time for the throne at this moment though. Might come back to the topic in the future though......
