This is for maya/vray.
Im not sure if im using the correct work-flow here, but I usually bake everything, light/shadow/GI onto a texture. And then I apply it to a SurfaceShader. It looks good and its fast and hassle free.
but... I can't get objects to cast shadows on it neither do I know how to add a vrayMtl reflection to it.
It seems that I have to brake everything up in passes. Are there any way around this? Is it possible within Maya in terms of shaders?
