I have to apply some tasks to hundreds of .png images, and would like to automate the process so I don't have to do it manually..
Searched the web, and there's some information about how to automate tasks in photoshop, but wasn't able to do the following:
Let's say I have the following directory tree:
What I'd like photoshop to do is to open each file of the above excluding the ones finishing with "Ref" and do the following to each file:
1.Open the image and set Layer0 to Difference mode.
2.Create a new layer (Layer 1) and place it on the bottom of Layer0.
3.Open the file's corresponding "Ref" picture and copy it to Layer1.
4.Merge both layers.
5.Modify the input RGB levels from 0 to 128 (image->adjunstments->levels).
6.Apply average blur filter to the resulting image.
7.Desaturate the image.
8.Get the HSV v percetange of any pixel of the image and write in a text file the name of the original file next to that percentage.
Is there some way to create some sort of script in photoshop that could perform this?
I get lost when trying to exclude Ref images from opening, and how telling photoshop to open the correct Ref picture when needed in each iteration (step 3). Also, can't find how to perform step 8 or any equivalent workaround.
Thanks in advance!!
