View Full Version : export xsi penguin fbx for unity problems

I've got an xsi penguin model that I need to export as fbx into unity3d. The model has to be oriented a certain way to export correctly because unity uses a different right hand vs left hand orientation.

I downloaded an xsi trial just so I could re-orient the model and try exporting him out again to see if that helps.

I can't budge the model.
I don't know xsi at all but for some reason the model's hotpoint moves not the model. I can't rotate or transform the penguin mesh in any way. I added a cube primitive and I can change that, rotate it just fine.

I just need to rotate him 90 degrees and re-export. Can anyone tell me why I can't seem to move the penguin? Is he stuck in some group or layer or scene?

I just need to do this one simple thing but am totally stuck.
