I posted wip shot of him before, now here is the final model..
There is the high res version of him ..

i'd adjust his hand - put his middle and index finger closer together and father from his ring finger. then i'd relax his thumb and bring that in closer to his palm. i'd also raise his hand in general closer to his heart (unless it's on his heart then he has a rather long chest.)

overall it looks like he's struggling to hold his hand in place like that.

amazing model. I really like him. Don't remember seeing a WIP. Maybe post a link to it.
I specailly like the ears. Very few people get them right.
Really cool uniform too.

this is only a very small (tiny) crit:
The hands - they seem a little cartoony compared to the realistic head.
also, the textures - they look CG. not quite sure what material they are.

Kickass. :xtreme: Loved this guy from the WIP..the buttons and finishing bits on the outfit work great.

I do agree the hand seems sort of awkward though..makes him look kind of pained, or choked up..or maybe having an internal problem. Also, is it posed in as part of an arm setup? the angle is such that it almost might not be feels like there should be some creasing on the sleeve if he's performing that motion. And there does seem to be some kind of moire happening on the cloth that's distracting.

Anyway, just picking nits..he rocks. Your figures always have amazing subtle realism, especially the faces. Look forward to the next.

There s no texture on the face actually only just radioity and abit of touch on ps.
I guess the hand is kind of realistic , cause its my hand :) , but it might not fit much to him , anyways i am happy with him so far.

Excellent job! The only thing I have a problem with is his hand. It looks as if he is flexing his hand outwards, causing the tendons to become very visible. This would seem unnatural to me. When the hand is relaxed, the tendons shouldn't be all that visible. also, you might want to have the index finger positioned a bit further away from the other 3 fingers.

The hand seems very exaggerated, or one that belongs to somebody that doesn't eat very well, while the face and neck remind me more of a bodybuilder or thick necked action hero, with excellent subtle features.

Did anybody see Leatherman on SNL last weekend? *creak creak* ;)

Face, ears, jacket are great but the hand, you know... Lets just relax him :p

I think you should deal with expressions, you really model the faces well .....

Shazam. Awesome. The hand fits him and looks great..very stately now. Also cool in that it shows off the clothing work on the left side better. :bowdown:

So much for him being "the ugly" :D Beautiful stuff.

Now I have to go back and try and work on my head model without deleting it in a fit of depression..thanks. :p

Whoa... That's really, really impressive! I can't find anything serious disturbing, except his hand;
- the upper part of his thumb seems more bigger than the lower part of it. I think it can be corrected easily by scaling up a little bit between the joints.
- between his pointing finger (index finger, whatever :shame:) and middle finger (so between the 'victory' fingers) the valley is too deep (actually between all of them). I think not the bones (or whatever they are).

Anyway, excellent work! (A little light texture is needed thogh)


ps: you can't have a freaky hand like this... ;)

very nice model i really like it, especially the head which seems to me almost perfect.:thumbsup:
though i got one question: are you going to give him some hair? (read that in the wip thread - would be nice i think).

Excellent model! Very nicely detailed and I love that expressive face (even if in that "default" look). I think he also looks quite cool without any hair :)

I'd love to see the same detail in the textures and lighting though. Right now it almost looks like there are only flat shaders and the skin looks very brightly lit while the clothes have a totally different lighting look.

I made a quik texture for the clothing , it`s better now i guess. i can model the eyebrows , i might add some hair ass soon as i learn sasquatch.

1- Uniform is great......but doesnt fit the body :buttrock:
