View Full Version : Getting and HDRI to display properly in Maya's viewport

Using Vray, with an HDRI mapped to a vray dome light, in my viewport the HDRI is totally overblown to the point of being almost entirely white. When rendered however, it appears fine as a regular sRGB space background. The dome light's "viewport display" dropdown settings don't seem to do much.

I'd really like it to behave this way in the viewport too.

(reason I want a to be able to see it in sRGB space is to line up a vray sun to the sun on the HDRI)
