Hey guys,

I am pursuing my career as a rigging artist and later becoming a TD.

Please can you specify all the skills that I would need to become one.

Rigging in maya, characters, birds, mechanical, and cartoon i am learning plus MEL.

what else do i need to learn?

Python is needed to get really good in Maya as MEL, is just no where near as powerful or nice to work with. Anatomy of everything, study animation as well so you know what you are rigging for. Understanding of mechanics and how joints, levels, pulleys.. all work and why. Facial expressions and how we use them and why...

I could go on and on. The learning will never stop.
