View Full Version : lighting using only a world tangent map (normal map)

I heard of a way a long long time ago to be able to roughly light a character in a post program like Shake or Nuke, where you can take the normal map of a character and use that to quickly light your diffuse pass. Has anyone got any good techniques they'd be able to share on how do that? Thanks!
