View Full Version : maya - how to have collision spheres for hair follow the mesh

I've modelled a body, head and hair following the hair tutorial. I added a collision sphere (constraintShape), so that the hair does not penetrate the head.

Once I boned and skinned my model, so I can move the body, the head moves, but the hair collision sphere (constraintShape) doesn't.

I'm expecting the sphere to move with my head. I tried a 'rigid' skin between the collision sphere and the skeleton but that is not supported.

How is this normally done? Thanks in advance
