For my short, I wanted to add professeur tournesol... For those who do not know about this high-end character of the Belgian culture here is a set of pic from Tintin album "Flight 714 to Sidney".
I first model something similar to this reference but my twisted mind asked me to put some evil traits in his shape and air.
Here is a pic.

I am a big fan of tintin comics, great, it must be professor calculus isnt it??
dont built mr calculus to be a evil guy, he is genius!!
I think his hair is too flat
and the big difference is his eye, dot only plz..

Very nice modeling! Tintin is not very well known here in the US. But since I lived abroad in a French-speaking country, I learned a lot of my French from the great comic books from France like Asterix and such. My only humble criticism is that the professor's glasses appear to wrap around his head making them appear to be more like goggles worn by WWI pilots.

You are right chicega the glass look like googles... It was purpose made but it is quite a bad idea... I will fix that soon.

That is one hell of a goatee too.....but (and there's always a but) on the wrong angle it looks like he's eating a turd ;)

I am rigging him from scratch (want to go back to my roots, I am fed up with these amazing tools which are ACS4 and Motion Builder which simplify work but make us forget how rigging is important to be mastered). I'll post something later on if I have time.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with Pi on this - that beard needs a wee bit o' tweaking still, Telamon :)
Perhaps you could do it with Sas instead of modelling it... that's always an option.
At any rate, PLEASE get rid of that "pinched" end - if you put a hat and Mickey Mouse eyes on it, you'd have Mr Hankey :cry:
Anyway, fecal matters aside...
Why do you want to make him evil though? He's always been more of a nuisance than a malevolent character.
With regards to the body, I think you've made the arms a teeny bit too long, and where is his pocket protector?!! :D

Looks good, although, I gotta say,
if your meaning him to be "mad", he doesnt look particularly mad or insane to me...

wow my god, Leigh and Pi... Thanks for the comment... the beard looks like a hurd, I have just realised that :surprised LOOOOOOOL
I'll tweak it later on tonight by adding a couple of strands and changing the color...
I have fixed the arm a little bit last night while rigging, I had the same feeling as leigh. Nevertheless I kept them a little bit long to keep a clumsy trait in his body.
The pocket protectors are not modelled for now... It is a WIP ;) I will add details for sure in the next days (pocket protectors, buttons, cane, hat, pendulum, fob watch...
Similar to My punk (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98187) this character is a background character in my short. Nevertheless I want him to be a bit more detailed... I think I'll go a bit farther with him (I love the twisted eye so much). Next update this evening if LW decides not to crash as much as yesterday.

just kiddin', add more wrinkle on the middle of his forehead to make him more evil

I am not sure that I will add wrinkles ;)
Now he is rigged. There is some MD at the bottom of the coat and jacket but it is not quite satisfactory, I'll fix that later while adding details to the final mesh.
Haaaa... He has a new beard also
endomorphs for the face (quite difficult to generate any feeling owing on the moustache)
adding overall details
animating him making a tap dance :D
