hey mates !

im working on a site for children age 3-8
this site is giving information to kids about a sort of a new snow park in the east side of berlin
i only have the design now and i am not sure about the line because i am dealing with kid so the real question is what is more importent for them being cool or being cute-e?!

would love to get some critics

hi there you sleepy girl..

I think it looks real good!
if you say it's intended for kids aged 3-8.. I think that in those
ages, "cute" plays more importance then "cool"
basically it's an age where parents still have control over
what kids watch,wear,like etc'..

I'd say.. go for 80% cute 20% cool

goodluck!

well i think those guys (or whatever) should look less pissed off!!
when they are friendlier it will become cute.. maybe pink cheeks and big eyes are an idea???

i think your characters look too old to be honest.
maybe you can do some research: like manga-style or look @ disney.com
the big disadvantage you have is that children aged 3 (most of the 3 year old cant read and the only thing they understand are the images) or 8 think very different...

maybe im a bit annoying but thats what i think.

hey there,
Here a comment from a girl ;-)

The design is okay for kids, cause it has that sort of southpark style. I think you must go on with that style, only you need to keep the details of character more simple, just like you did on the buildings (why placing the flags in the back?).
I like those commercial fontype in the middle.
Also do something with soundeffects (maybe you already did that, but I have no sound on this computer-->at work).

Hopefully you can do something with my comment, can't wait to see the final concept.
