This is a very rough concept but I thought I might aswell submit something to start off with.

You are in an alien world that appears, at first, to be alive with trees and plants but on closer inspection you start to wander; are they really plants, the seem somewhat hard and brittle. Are they just formations created as a side effect of the strange atmosphere?

Short answer is no, cause I can't hink of anything at the moment. But, you never know, I might come up with something to put there. I wanted it to have the feel of just exiting a jungle and looking over a vast flat landscape.

Well, I didn't really like the last concept so I tried again. I'm not sure what to put in that big empty space though... but I know something has to go there

Whateveryou do man, don't put a distant planet. 2 small moon perhaps, the size of our sun and moon, but nooo big saturn like planet!!!. The intertwining stuff you got on your right in your sketch is supa nice. May I suggest putting a huge natural tower way in the background, just one huge one in the background and even further another smaller one. I think your concept is sweet. Keep up the good work!

thanx a lot for the comment. Yeh, I see the huge planet thing as being WAY too much overdone. Also, I was going to do floating land mass things but that has also been done a lot. Your tower idea sounds good though
