Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Digital Domain rolled out their work on the first Transformers film to be crafted in stereo. CGSociety catches up with the key lead supervisors at the studio as the film.

With the amount of work that went into this film, I really wish it was better from a story perspective!
The artists that did the work on the film can really be proud tho! It was visually amazing.

I think it's kind of funny how Michael Bay figures that changing the shutter angle during a shot will somehow make the plot somewhat better... perhaps one should consider writing a plot that's not crap to begin with instead? Just saying...
Fantastic job from all the artists working on the CG in the film though! Congratulations!

Isn't it amazing how no matter how much work and effort we put into something, no matter how advanced technology gets, no matter how flipping amazing the CG and special effects are, no matter how much money is spent on something, it all come down to something so simple as a what can be created with a paper and pencil, the script.
With that said, the CG in this film made me happy.
