View Full Version : Motion Blur Crashing Batch Render?

My motion blur is crashing my batch render, I don't know why...
I tried render diagnostics, it came up with many things that have keyed visibility.

I don't know if that's the problem, though! Some of my lights also have keyed visibility, but is that really the issue?

Every time I go to batch render, it says "Rendering..." then it tells me "Render completed". I turn off motion blur and it's fine. What do I do? Is keyed visibility really the problem, or is something else at play, and why?

I'm using Mental Ray for Maya 2009.

Did u useing mentalray?Check the memory limit,motion blur may cause memory die soon! Or u can try use command line to do the batch render!

As Illcw said it could be a memory issue. I've had renders crash on me several times due to lack of memory. Motion Blur can be pretty processing intensive. How much RAM does your system have?
