CGTalk - Vray 1.5 Light Select

so I am trying to separate out a set of lights so we can change them if need be in post and I know that I should use the vray RE light select. Only problem is that I do not know how to set it up and I can't find a single word on the internet on how to use it. I tried chaosgroup's help file (which is completely lacking) and I also viewed their videos on the light select (which doesn't explain how to use it, only what it does).

so can anyone shed some light on how to set this light select pass up?

Nevermind guys, seems that I had to go into the sets window and connect them that way
