For us, we are already rendering final shots and doing comping, but we plan to do around 15+ shots, and rendering is still slow, it was even almost 2 hours for 1 frame (1h45min max). So, i hope to meet de 29 august deadline, but i think 1-2 weeks extra could give us that extra time to properly finish everything in time.
We plan to give a teaser of the final animation at the end of this week, with 4 shots rendered/comped etc.., all the bling. But we may finish in time for 29 august, i cannot say for sure.
My main concern is that i'll be in vacation in greece from 2aug till 9 aug and badger also, from 5 to 10-11 aug. So, because of this pause our actual work time for aug is around 3 weeks.
But we will see, i will let you know about how our animation progresses, i'm really happy atm with our progress :).

After trudging through team members its been difficult to get this going, but now I have people working on this with me and we are doing pre-viz and animatics, my effects are basically done just have to plug them in but another couple of weeks we could probably use to properly get things in order....

I will give an extra month to finish the project.
I will post more details soon.

that would be perfect if you extended the deadline by a month I'm going all out. or rather I'm planning to go all out for my weapons demo.
