CGTalk - Viewport render - background problem

When I run this script to create a viewport render the background images does not get rendered correctly in relation to the way it displays in viewport. The problem lies in somewhere when it is actually cropping the image.
I've posted the script in search that hopefully someone will be able to point out where the issue is exactly and how to go about fixing it.
