this model took under 8 hours to create!

what is cinema 4D? I want a copy now!

I love the render too by the way. render engines are getting so darn good.

I call bullsh*t!

You are saying that you modelled (from stratch with all the details), textured, rigged and lit this image in only 8 hours?

I'm sorry but I don't believe you. No one is that fast.

Oh yes they are. That model can very realistically be done in 8 hours.

You also have to take into account that it's not textured, and it looks like a single shader for the whole model.

So yeah, it could probably have been done in even less than 8 hours. Hell now that I look at it more closely, he could've just modeled one half and just mirrored the entire other half.

EDIT: I find you lack of faith in your fellow humans disturbing[/Vader];)

hey, i really like the model i already saw this over on deviantart but im kinda confused you said 11 hours over their

" The first in the series of the this complete mech warrior style model.

slightly simple scene and I am working on something far more complex in respect to a background.

Created in just under 11hours in Cinema 4Dxl 8.2

The whole project was a test of speed. "

The rendering is great but it's difficult to see the shape of the robot. The arms seems to be connected with the legs. Is it your intention? Otherwise great work and fast!!!

I still call bullsh*t!

Of course everything is symetrical and duplicated.

Yes there is just a base material and shader applied.

But there is no way in h*ll that the model took only 8 hours. Like beechdbum's post said, in another forum he lists 11 hours. I work in the industry and have shown the post to some other modellers. They all say that 8 hours is a lie.

It doesn't matter really. I think it looks great no matter how long it took. I've just notice that there are alot of posts here where people say;"Oh yeah, I did this in a day." or;"I fired this off this afternoon." Sometimes I question the speed that people quote and this is particularly seems way way off.

Good job non-the-less! :)

Eight hours doesn't seem so shocking to me. Seems very realistic. I'd like to see this from some other angles. Nice.
