Hey all, I am currently building a small home render farm out of 4 or 5 6 core machines to experiment in the whole network rendering world. All the render nodes are going to be new machines, but at the moment I'm using an older q6600 4gb ram 1tb setup as my main server. I am looking into what kind of hardware would be sufficient in replacing the server as it is rather old, inefficient and loud for what it needs to do. The i3 2100 is first thing that comes to mind or an ITX Atom or E-350 from amd be enough?
Thanks for any input or if got some questions fire away :)
