L ant to know if this book is good
The MEL Companion: Maya Scripting for 3D Artists

l already have mel scripting for animator and
complete maya programming
l have startred learn mel and l have already some knowleage
l would likt to know if its a plus to get that one or those 2 l got rignt now are ok

I think it's quite good. But I'm rather biased on the issue.

TMC is targeted at users who are already familiar with maya and want to push MEL a little further than the other books do.

The book is structured around projects, rather than mere abstract concepts. My goal was to explain not only what I'm doing with each bit of code, but also why.

I do know the book has become quite popular at Disney and Digital Domain, as well as here at Sony. But, so is Mark and Chris'.

thx dstripinis for your answer....l will check for that book little further ................l loving learning mel at first l think that will be boring but when we see how fast we can get result ...its unbelievalbe.
