I saw a de-focusing plugin for photoshop I think. It would alow you to apply a blur that more acuratley emulated true to life de-fucusing. Anyone have a link or some info??

Thanks!

I don't recall where i may have seen such a plugin, but actually it's not really neccessary.

Have you tried manual methods of creating the effect yet? Such as duping the original photo, applying a white-to-black Radial gradient to a new channel, loading that channel as a selection, inversing the selection, then blurring the duped photo.

I'm pretty sure that any plugin designed for this effect would also include a manual setup procedure, if it was any good at producing the effect, so there's not much dif in doing it manually yourself. And in fact, it allows more control doing it yourself. ;)
