here is my Lara Croft, I made her in G-max for the g-max challenge. It was suposed to be show " the past", and that is why Mrs. Pacman is in there, she lost out to Lara! GIve me your C&C....

Jeroentje: Wow man, we all know Lara Croft her boobs are a bit unrealistic (actually on your painting they look quite realistic) but ... this way to big :insane: to my likeings, no wonder all hungry raptors are after her eh? :D
What were you aiming for, or thinking about, when you painted her?

trybul: Hey, that's looking good, Lara looks just like in the game! The image could use a little antialialising though. The boots look kinda simplistic and did you paste the banners in from some existing images? I think it would have been better if you retyped them with a higher resolution. How did you do in the challenge?

Joril, the image is just a screen capture as G-max has no render, and yes the banners were cropped from existing images, they were scanned at a high resolution, but with a screen cap...they lack! As for the competition, I got third....not bad...but it was for the other entry that i did...

Hmm... :hmm:

Don't know what to think of it... On one hand, I like it a lot. She's beyond Cool.

On the other hand, it seems like they want to let the Lara from the game look like the one in the movies (no problems with A.J., but it's not really the real thing). She has lost that "Indiana Jones" atmosphere. And I liked that. She also looks more Americain somehow. Thought she was British.

She sure has changed, but I really like it this way.
They're taking the character places.
As the (game)story goes, she has had a near death experience in a previous Tomb Raider episode and that changed her dramatically. She has become darker and bitter.
"Angel of Darkness" says it all.
It's true she lost the careless "let's go adventuring"-look, I think that has to do with the game aswell, she can't visit Egypt forever, so they changed the setting of the game and adjusted the character. Now it has a more "I'm on a unholy quest" look. Which will be a welcome change IMO.

I don't think they want to remake A.J. in the game, check out the official Lara Model. She's dutch by the way (and 20 years old)!

I like the new look of Lara, with the darker approach, but her boobs are way too big, they just look like two balls inside her shirt, and with a shirt as tight as that, her nipples would be showing too.

I don't mind the new 'official' Lara, the style of the game seems cool as well, though you're right, there isn't a wonderbra in the world that would keep those things up like that and yet have the shirt stick that way. Oh well.
