View Full Version : Maya 2011 / 2012 diffusenoshadow broken

Hey guys,

please can you confirm that the diffusenoshadow ( specnoshadow / shadow, shadowraw ) pass inside Maya 2011 and 2012 is broken. I have just tried it again and i always get the image with the shadow ( mia_mat_x_passes)

It's just again to ridiculous

Accepted passes in Maya 2011 and mia_material_x_passes

The following are the supported passes for Maya 2011 and mia_material_x_passes

mia_material_x_passes
With pass contribution map support: Diffuse, Diffuse Without Shadows, Direct Irradiance, Direct Irradiance Without Shadows, Raw Shadow, Shadow, Specular, Specular Without Shadows, Translucence, Translucence Without Shadows.
Without pass contribution map support: Incandescence, Indirect, Reflection, Refraction
Partial pass contribution map support (Diffuse pass matches pass conribution maps): Beauty


So am i missing something?
When i use the contr. maps and just get the diffusenoshadow again with my shadows
Using maya arealights ( enabled use light shape option)
