i like the character alot, looks interesting, the contrast between this little guy and all the tech stuff on him is nice. shading could get some more variation, also some textures that breaks up all the reflection, glossy stuff.

Lovely little character, and the mechanical work nicely toes the line in terms of complexity without being overbearing.
Only the symmetry on the character itself took me out of it. It's a funny idea to have two belly buttons, but it drew my eye right away to an area where both the geo and the texture patterns look almost perfectly symmetrical. Broken up a little bit more in the pose and high frequency details it'd go up a couple notches imo.

Nice work I love the the gear the creature is wearing but so much the creature itself. technically it's great but the design imo doesn't go well with the cool amour/ gear. to be honest the creature feels like a after though.

I originally saw this over on the Zbrush forums, and I was incredibly impressed with the character design.

There is something about characters so hideous that have this almost forced cuteness about them that I really love. It's as if your brain is telling you "That thing is dangerous, don't touch" but your hand is already reaching out to pet it because it's so darned adorable.

Though I agree with a previous poster that the creature doesn't exactly fit the armor style well, I feel that it makes more sense that way. It adds to the allure of the character for me because I feel it adds a cute awkwardness to the character. It's almost unsettling, as if the armor wasn't exactly intended for him. In this case, that works for me.

Great work. Excellent color choices for the original piece. Great character design. You really captured personality and a uniqueness that I admire.

I LOVE this. Love the simple V mech approach. No hands was an excellent choice. My only critique would be maybe some brass on the helmet somewhere, to brake up the red? Im thinking brass, or like a greening copper?
So good though. Would love to see this guy come to life.
