Hi,
When I (ctrl+alt drag) resize my brush the color is reset to black.

Advice appreciated

Painter 12 /Win 7 64 /12GB/ Hexacore

I just tried it here in Painter 12, and my brush stays the same color I chose before resizing.

I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP 1, 12 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 460, CPU - i7 980x @ 3.33 GHz, so it sounds like a similar setup.

Are you using the default workspace or a custom one? Maybe the workspace is corrupted. Have you tried resetting Painter by starting with the shift key held down?

Thanks Cindy,

One of Rob's brushes: Real pencil was the one that gave me this odd effect.
But there are several things in Painter 12 working ...not very pleasant to me.
I regonize many of the problems mensioned in this forum.

I'll stick to painter 11 for now.
