Here's my 2 newest paintings based on the norse mythology. They both show a view of Asgard, the world of the gods. The first one is made by combining a lot of photos, cloning a lot and painting even more. The second one is completely painted in photoshop. Hope you like'em.

Love teh painting n all...nice lighting...But i dont quite get the gist of it...The 'Castle' looks like...well..ITs made of Cardobard boxes for kids to play in..no offense. And the tree with the castle in the first one...Perspective...? I dunnmo...Perhaps u could explain some of the Norse Mythology to me n how this fits in..Thnx!

Heh yeah, I know it looks like the castle is very small. In the norse mythology the gods live in a world called Asgard. Here there is a giant ash tree, ygdrasil, which caries all the sky on its branches. Underneath this giant tree is the fortress of the gods, Valhalla. So it is supposed to be small compared to the tree :)
