Continuing my desire to learn C + +, I am also working on an exporter of Autodesk Softimage to Luxrender. The exporter was initiated by Michael Gangolf and currently supports the 2012 version of Softimage.
There is also a x64 version, thanks to the work of aka 'sshadows'.

awesome it was the lack of 64bit version that was holding me back from trying out this renderer. many thanks!
