THE ROISMO itīs a short film we created as a teaser for a new project we are developing right now. It mixes live action footage (the actors) with 3D generated backgrounds.
We used Maya for modeling and animation, Vray for rendering and After Effects for composition.
Some references were "1984"(Orwell), "Dark City" (Alex Proyas) and "We" (Zamiatin).

The storyline goes like this:
"Santiago, Chile. September 4th. The whole country is preparing to celebrate another year under the Roismo government. Some call it dictatorship. Others call it the only choice...
A group of anti government activist who call themselves "The Rotistas", is preparing for they're biggest attack to the subway tunnels. This will be the union beetween the activist and someone from the government house..."

you made some nice stuff there, although i felt like the actors couldve been integrated a bit better at some shots. good job nonetheless, looking forward for the final work:)
