I have a C3D file exported from SIMI Motion.

In MotionBuilder I work like in this tutorial series.
http://youtu.be/SQa_Y-vx-mE

works fine until I press the Active CheckerBox after I'm finished with the Actor settings.
The Actor gets not the pose like in the MoCap Data, instead he has a sitting pose.

befor klicking "Active"

after klicking "Active"

What's wrong?

here is the MB file befor I checked "Active"

I tried example files from c3d, they work fine.
There is something wrong with the MoCap Data from SIMI Motion.

Is it possible to edit de c3d files and delete or cut the animation in MotionBuilder?

Have you tried clicking the "Snap" button next to the active box and then select "R Only"? This should only allow rotation adjustments on the actor.
I always build my actors using data thats in a T-pose so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

You can set new start and end points in the animation by right clicking in the Transport controls and selecting time - set start and/or set end. Just make sure your slider is where you want it before selecting it.

Hope that helps.

thank you 18th_Devil,
I have played around, and it looks like the hips marker has to be checked "oriented".
