ALIENWARE Challenge Entry: Chad Welch

Howdy, CGTalkers!

My name is Chad (like it says up there) and I've entered this contest.

Still working on a couple of different concepts, trying to work story into the final product as much as possible. I'm relatively new to the world of 3D, so I see this challenge as more of a chance for me to push my skillset in my particular 3D app than a chance to win a wicked awesome computer. :D

Anyway, I'll probably detail my process quite a bit, and all you pros out there lemme know if there's somthing I should be doin', or if I'm doin' somthing I shouldn't. ;)

I'll be running everything through a Sony Vaio LX920, with this nifty monitor that I can draw on. With that in mind, all of my spec work will be in Alias Sketchbook Pro (great program, by the way.) As far as 3D appilcations, I've used (or TRIED to use) them all, to no avail save for one: Lightwave3D. So I'll be trying to stretch NewTek's baby to its limits with this one.
